The Interaction Design Association

Founded in 2003 by Rick Cecil, David Heller, Challis Hodge, and Jim Jarrett in response to Bruce “Tog” Tognazzini’s impassioned plea to the interaction design community to create a nonprofit professional association to address the challenges that interaction designers encounter in their professional lives.

The Interaction Design Association is the result of that early collaboration and efforts of various other steering committee members. We officially incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in late 2005 and today we continue to thrive as a member-supported community.
